Last week, the cryptocurrency market showed a negative trend, primarily affecting Bitcoin.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $73,442, down 4.1% from last week.

On the other hand, the situation is not much different for most altcoins. The main exceptions this week were Binance-linked altcoin $BNB, with 8%, and decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Hyperliquid ($HYPE), with 9%.

Friday, June 5

Aave has filed a motion to lift the freeze on $71 million worth of ETH; the hearing will take place today.

15:30 — U.S. average hourly earnings, month-on-month change. Expected: 0.3%, previous: 0.2%.

15:30 — U.S. nonfarm payrolls data. Expected: 95,000, previous: 115,000.

15:30 — U.S. unemployment rate. Expected: 4.3%, previous: 4.3%.

Meanwhile, artificial intelligence remains a key factor shaping global risk appetite. As the corporate earnings season approaches its end, investors will be closely watching results from companies such as CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Broadcom.
