Ripple (XRP) announced a major move in Dubai today!
The American blockchain company Ripple (XRP) announced the opening of a new regional hub in the United Arab Emirates to strengthen its presence in the Middle East.
The company expanded its operations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region by opening a new headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Reece Merrick, Ripple’s Senior Manager for the Middle East and Africa, stated that this move demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Merrick emphasized that since launching operations in Dubai in 2020, the region has become one of Ripple’s most important global markets, adding that the new office will double the team size and accelerate customer service.
In its official statement, the company noted that the Middle East market is taking an increasing share of Ripple’s global client base, and that the new office is intended to reflect this growth. The new hub, located in DIFC, is expected to expand the company’s workforce in the region while serving a broader network of clients and partners. Ripple already has major business partners in the region, including Zand Bank, Ctrl Alt, Garanti BBVA, Absa Bank, and Chipper Cash.
