Visa has added support for three new stablecoins — PYUSD, USDG, and EURC. The company is also now working with the Stellar and Avalanche blockchains.

The payments giant announced it has integrated support for new stablecoins — PayPal USD (PYUSD) and Global Dollar (USDG) — along with two blockchains: Stellar and Avalanche.

As part of a partnership with Paxos, Visa ensured the technical integration of these new dollar-pegged assets. Additionally, the company has for the first time integrated a euro-backed stablecoin — EURC, issued by Circle.

Thanks to these new integrations, Visa’s pilot partners can now settle payments in both dollar-backed stablecoins and EURC. This complements Visa’s existing infrastructure, which already processes transactions in over 25 fiat currencies globally, according to the announcement.

Altogether, the Visa network now supports four stablecoins: USDC, USDG, PYUSD, and EURC, and four blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Stellar.

Rubaill Birwadker, Head of Growth and Strategic Partnerships at Visa, said that the company is building a multi-currency and multi-chain infrastructure to meet the needs of partners around the world.

The statement also notes that earlier in 2025, Visa expanded its network of card issuers working with stablecoins. In addition, the company is developing infrastructure that:

  • enables wallet integration across multiple blockchains;

  • supports direct stablecoin settlement;

  • addresses demand from banks, trading platforms, and developers.
