Whales accumulated $800 million worth of Ethereum over the past week

Analysts from Lookonchain reported large Ethereum purchases. According to their data, over the past week, major holders of the altcoin have added more than $800 million worth of Ethereum to their crypto wallets.

One such address, 0x9684, purchased 27,806 ETH worth approximately $85.57 million on FalconX just a few hours ago. In total, over the last four days, this crypto whale bought 68,141 ETH valued at $213.8 million.

Similarly, the wallet 0x35fb acquired 80,312 ETH worth $252 million over the past six days. In just the last 24 hours, the investor bought altcoins worth $25.17 million on Kraken. Another buyer, 0x3c9E, accumulated 26,000 ETH valued at $73.45 million over the past 12 days.

The company SharpLink also added another 6,377 ETH to its assets, spending $19.56 million. Over the past seven days alone, the organization accumulated a record 91,330 ETH worth approximately $275 million.

Thanks to this whale activity, the dominance of the leading altcoin is growing. According to analyst Rekt Capital, Ethereum’s market dominance has exceeded 10% for the first time since March 2020.
