Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, continues to make announcements regarding altcoins. This time, Binance announced the addition of nine more altcoins to its watchlist.

Binance stated that it has expanded the tracking tag and included the following altcoins: Contentos (COS), Dego Finance (DEGO), Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH), FUNToken (FUN), Hooked Protocol (HOOK), Loopring (LRC), MOBOX (MBOX), Orchid (OXT), and Dogwifhat (WIF).

The exchange also announced the removal of the tracking tag from Flow (FLOW), and the removal of the seed tag from Ondo (ONDO) and Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL).

“According to the latest evaluations, Binance will expand the use of the tracking tag by including more tokens and will remove the tracking tag and seed tag from certain tokens on March 6, 2026.”

The following altcoins will be added to the tracking tag list:
COS, DEGO, FORTH, FUN, HOOK, LRC, MBOX, OXT, and WIF.

The altcoin that will have the tracking tag removed:
FLOW.

The following altcoins will be removed from the Seed Tag list:
ONDO, VIRTUAL.

Binance also recently issued a warning to investors:

“Tokens with the ‘Observation’ tag demonstrate significantly higher volatility and risk compared to other listed tokens. These tokens are under close monitoring and are regularly reviewed. Please note that tokens with the ‘Observation’ tag may no longer meet our listing criteria and could be delisted from the platform.”
