Exchanges Binance, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget led the crypto exchange market in Q2

According to TokenInsight, trading platforms Binance, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget were the market leaders among crypto exchanges in the second quarter of 2025. The total trading volume on the 10 largest exchanges reached $21.6 trillion, which is 6.16% lower than in the first quarter.

Binance continues to hold the largest market share at 35.39%, down 1.18% compared to 36.57% in the previous quarter. OKX ranks second with a 14.34% market share, up 1.08% from 13.26% in Q1. Bybit is in third place with 12.20%, a decrease of 0.80%.

Bitget’s market share amounted to 11.45%, up 0.14% compared to 11.31% in the first quarter. MEXC accounts for 11.45%, down 1.58% from 13.03% in Q1 2025. The highest market share growth was shown by Gate, increasing by 2.55% to 7.95%.

Market shares of BingX, HTX, and Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN) decreased by 0.17%, 0.51%, and 0.62%, respectively. Meanwhile, KuCoin’s dominance grew by 0.05% compared to the first quarter.

The combined trading volume on the 10 largest crypto exchanges exceeded $21.6 trillion.

According to an analysts’ report, Binance remains the market leader in Bitcoin perpetual futures. In 2025, the exchange processed Bitcoin perpetual futures with a total volume of $25.4 trillion — more than twice the volumes recorded by OKX ($11.3 trillion) and Bybit ($9.6 trillion).
