Samsung and Coinbase launch crypto service for Galaxy smartphone owners

The partnership agreement provides for the integration of Coinbase One directly into the Samsung Wallet app, offering zero-fee cryptocurrency trading and enhanced staking rewards. Coinbase emphasized that the service could become available to millions of Galaxy users.

U.S. Galaxy owners who subscribe to Coinbase One and obtain premium status on the Coinbase platform will be able to receive a CB1 payment card, allowing them to spend digital assets through Samsung Pay on their smartphones.

Coinbase promises users partial or even full reimbursement in the event of unauthorized third-party access to their accounts.

Earlier, Samsung announced plans to implement blockchain technologies to improve the security and protection of its AI-powered home appliances.
