Ripple (XRP) launched a very important feature

Ripple, a cryptocurrency payments company, continues to develop the $XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain.

At this stage, the $XRP Ledger has partnered with Boundless, a zero-knowledge infrastructure provider, to enable banks and asset managers to carry out confidential yet compliant transactions directly on the network.

According to CoinDesk, Ripple Ledger (XRPL) announced an integration with Boundless (ZKC), a decentralized zero-knowledge (ZK) compute platform. This integration enables the use of zero-knowledge verification features.

This functionality is designed to help financial institutions comply with regulations and enhance privacy by allowing transactions to be processed without revealing their details on a public blockchain.

Zero-knowledge proofs solve this problem by allowing one party to prove the truth of a statement without revealing the underlying data. In practice, for XRPL, this means that the validity, proper funding, and compliance of a payment can be verified without publicly disclosing the amount, sender, or recipient.

In short, XRPL allows verification of a transaction’s validity or the existence of funds while keeping certain amounts or participants hidden.
