Cloudflare to Launch Stablecoin with Instant Transfer Function

Cloudflare, the cloud infrastructure provider, will release its own stablecoin featuring instant transfers.

The company is working on the creation of the NET dollar cryptocurrency, whose value will be pegged to the US dollar and fully backed by fiat currency reserves. The key feature of this coin will be the ability to execute transactions instantly, a function that AI agents — designed to perform specific actions such as booking tickets and purchasing goods — will be able to use.

These AI-driven programs are coded to gain advantages, for example, by purchasing products immediately after they appear on the market at a low price.

For decades, the internet’s business model was built on advertising platforms and bank transfers. The next-generation business model is based on a pay-per-use system, fractional payments, and microtransactions — tools that shift the focus toward original and creative content with real value.
“Using our global network, we will help modernize the financial rails along which money moves at the speed of the internet,” said Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince.

The release date of the NET dollar is still unknown, but it can be stated with certainty that it will face strong competition from other dollar-pegged stablecoins, among which Tether (USDT), USDC (USDC), and Ethena USDe (USDe) are the leaders in terms of market capitalization.

According to the published information, the success of Cloudflare’s stablecoin will largely depend on the demand for AI agents, as they are expected to become the main users of the cryptocurrency.
