Number of Crypto Millionaires Surges 40% in a Year to Record 240,000
According to a new report by Henley & Partners, the number of crypto millionaires has risen by 40% compared to last year, reaching 241,700 individuals.
The number of people whose crypto assets exceed $100 million increased by 38% to 450, while the number of crypto billionaires grew by 29% to 36 by the end of June 2025.
“This significant growth coincided with a landmark year for institutional adoption,” noted analysts at Henley & Partners.
Public companies and major financial firms are increasingly betting on cryptocurrencies, especially in the United States, as the crypto-friendly policies of the Trump administration strengthened Wall Street’s confidence in the necessity of such investments, fueling the market’s rise. By mid-2025, the total market capitalization exceeded $3.3 trillion.
According to Henley & Partners, the surge in crypto millionaires over the year was “driven by a sharp increase in the number of Bitcoin millionaires,” which jumped by 70% to 145,100 individuals. Meanwhile, the number of Bitcoin billionaires rose by 55% to 17.
At the same time, the total number of cryptocurrency users grew by only 5%, reaching 590 million.
The best countries for crypto investors were named as Singapore, Hong Kong, and the U.S.. Switzerland and the UAE also made it into the top five by the digital assets adoption index.
