Brandt Predicts Bitcoin Price Drop to $58,000 in 2026

Standpoint Brandt Predicts Bitcoin Price Drop to $58,000 in 2026

Veteran trader Peter Brandt has predicted that the price of the cryptocurrency bitcoin will fall to $58,000 in 2026.

“I think BTC will drop to $58,000–62,000. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll have nothing to be ashamed of. So trolls, don’t screenshot this post. I’m wrong 50% of the time, and I’m fine with that,” Peter wrote.

Bitcoin price chart published by Brandt

After reviewing Brandt’s chart, Happy Coin News analyst Yury Savelyev concluded that the trader is forecasting at least a 33% decline in BTC’s price after the correction that followed the dump which ended in November 2025. If bitcoin falls to $62,000, the new bottom would be 23% below the previous one; if it drops to $58,000, it would be 28% lower.

Clearly, Brandt is betting on a classic bearish trend pattern consisting of three waves — A, B, and C. However, from November 2021 to November 2022, when the market experienced a prolonged downtrend, seven waves of varying strength were recorded. As a result, even a decline in bitcoin’s price to $58,000 would not signal the end of the bearish trend. If the situation develops in line with Yury Savelyev’s forecast, BTC could fall to $35,000 by October 2026.

ChatGPT, Grok and Claude Predict Where Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Solana Could Be by December 31

2026 has been a difficult period for the cryptocurrency market: since the start of the year, each of the five largest crypto assets by market capitalisation has posted double-digit losses. Among this group, Solana ($SOL) has suffered the most, losing more than 47% of its value since January 1. To understand where the market may head next, we asked several leading modern artificial intelligence (AI) models to forecast the year-end prices of $BTC, $ETH, $BNB, $XRP and $SOL. Their answers were, to put it mildly, intriguing.

On June 7, 2026, at 8:35 a.m. Eastern Time (EDT), Bitcoin ($BTC) was trading at $61,822, caught between strong oversold conditions on shorter timeframes and persistent pressure from moving averages on the daily chart. The technical picture this weekend is mixed but clearly tilted bearish, with the $63,000 level standing out as the most important area on current charts.
