Peter Brandt Reveals How Much Bitcoin Will Fall in 2025

Veteran trader Peter Brandt has shared how deep the decline in Bitcoin’s price could be during the bearish trend that emerged in October.

Peter has no doubt the downtrend will continue because:

  • the BTC price broke below the lower boundary of the expanding channel and settled under the 18-day moving average;
  • the price peaks recorded after rebounds were lower than the previous ones.

The chart published by Brandt

The bears’ targets are $81,000 and $58,000.
Those who now promise to buy大量 of coins once the price drops to $58,000 will lose their nerve as soon as BTC falls to $60,000, Peter concluded.

The trader did not specify when exactly Bitcoin might fall to $58,000.
However, judging by the prediction markets at Polymarket, this is unlikely to happen in 2025.

Members of the crypto community are actively betting on BTC falling to $80,000 by the end of the year, so the first target identified by Brandt will most likely be reached by December 31.

The probability of this event on Polymarket has increased by 8% over the past 24 hours and currently stands at 33%.
A successful bet on this outcome would bring an impressive 194% return.

ChatGPT, Grok and Claude Predict Where Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Solana Could Be by December 31

2026 has been a difficult period for the cryptocurrency market: since the start of the year, each of the five largest crypto assets by market capitalisation has posted double-digit losses. Among this group, Solana ($SOL) has suffered the most, losing more than 47% of its value since January 1. To understand where the market may head next, we asked several leading modern artificial intelligence (AI) models to forecast the year-end prices of $BTC, $ETH, $BNB, $XRP and $SOL. Their answers were, to put it mildly, intriguing.

The technical picture this weekend is mixed but clearly tilted bearish, with the $63,000 level standing out as the most important area on current charts.
