ETH ETFs Record Largest Daily Outflow of $465M
On Monday, U.S.-based Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETH ETFs) recorded their largest single-day outflow since their launch in July 2024, with $465.1 million withdrawn in just one day.
Investors pulled over $375 million from BlackRock’s ETHA fund alone. Other outflows were seen from Fidelity’s FETH, Grayscale’s ETHE, and Ethereum Mini Trust.
Notably, this significant outflow followed a period of record-breaking weekly inflows in recent weeks: $2.2 billion in the second week of July, $1.9 billion in the third week, and $154.3 million last week.
“While this could indicate short-term profit-taking following ETH’s recent rally, it doesn’t necessarily reflect declining institutional interest — especially considering July’s record $5.4 billion inflows into the sector and large-scale Ethereum accumulation by corporations,” said LVRG Research director Nick Ruck.
Over the past 24 hours, Ethereum rose by 4.1% and was trading at $3,675 at the time of writing, recovering from a weekend dip.
