Musk’s SpaceX Moves $150M in Bitcoin After Three Years of Dormancy
Elon Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, has accessed its crypto holdings for the first time in three years. According to Arkham Intelligence, a wallet linked to SpaceX — “15oKQ…7Jf1G” — transferred 1,308 BTC (worth around $150 million) to a new address “bc1q8…hartf.”
This marks the company’s first crypto transaction since June 10, 2022. Previously, SpaceX had been regularly transferring batches of around 1,200 BTC to Coinbase (NASDAQ:COIN). Between May 25 and June 10, 2022, it sent a total of 17,314 BTC to the exchange.
SpaceX has yet to officially comment on the latest transaction or disclose its purpose. However, Arkham reports that the company still holds 6,977 BTC valued at approximately $825 million. Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA), another company owned by Musk, holds 11,509 BTC (about $1.36 billion).
In June 2025, Arkham analysts revealed that Musk’s companies had collectively earned nearly $1.5 billion from their bitcoin holdings.
