Tether Released an Operating System for Bitcoin Mining

Stablecoin issuer Tether has released an open-source operating system for Bitcoin mining.

Tether’s Mining OS is an operational platform that can be scaled to industrial levels across different geographic regions.
It is a highly modular peer-to-peer encrypted networking layer that supports numerous miners, containers, sensors, monitoring devices, pools, and more, wrote Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.

Mining OS belongs to the class of operating systems designed for mining infrastructure. The software can be used on devices running Windows, macOS, and Linux. It allows users to manage the process of digital asset mining both on a small home mining farm and in a large data center. Instructions on how to install and use the software are published on Tether’s website dedicated to Mining OS.

According to the demo version reviewed by the Happy Coin News editorial team, Mining OS is capable of tracking changes in the hash rate of connected equipment, electricity consumption, the number of bitcoins mined, and can also send alerts about operational issues, for example, if a miner overheats. In addition, the software generates reports for a selected period, evaluates device performance, and enables remote control of a mining pool.
