According to blockchain data, Ethereum treasury company Bitmine has locked thousands of ETH

Bitmine, a company operating in crypto asset management and mining, continues to increase its investments in Ethereum. According to data provided by blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, the company staked 162,088 Ethereum approximately eight hours ago. The market value of this transaction is estimated at around $366 million.

With this latest move, the total amount of ETH staked by Bitmine has reached 4,194,029. This figure demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to the Ethereum ecosystem and its long-term yield strategy. Staking means that investors contribute to network security by locking their crypto assets for a certain period and earning rewards in return.

Analysts note that Bitmine’s aggressive staking strategy reflects its goal of generating passive income as well as taking a more active role in the Ethereum network. The recent rise in institutional interest in staking highlights Ethereum’s potential in yield generation.

On the other hand, transactions of this scale are closely watched by the market. Removing a large amount of ETH from circulation and placing it into staking can reduce supply, which may indirectly affect price. However, experts note that such actions are more important for the long-term health of the network and investor confidence than for short-term price fluctuations.

Market participants are closely watching whether Bitmine will increase its staking position in the near future.
