Bitdeer unveils SEALMINER A4 Bitcoin miner with 9.45 J/TH efficiency
Bitdeer has launched sales of its SEALMINER A4 series mining units for Bitcoin. The flagship model of the new series is claimed to have an energy efficiency of 9.45 J/TH.
The device in question is the A4 Ultra Hydro ASIC miner. It is designed for installation in standard server racks and delivers a hashrate of 886 TH/s.
The junior model, SEALMINER A4 Pro Hydro, features a similar form factor and delivers 680 TH/s with an energy efficiency of 10.9 J/TH. Both units are designed for use in liquid cooling systems and, according to the manufacturer, maintain stable operation in extreme temperature ranges from -20°C to 55°C.
“Regardless of the environment, core components remain in the ‘optimal comfort zone’ to achieve maximum efficiency,” the description states.
The A4 Pro Air miner with air cooling is equipped with four fans but operates with “low noise levels,” according to Bitdeer. The unit delivers a hashrate of 336 TH/s with an energy efficiency of 10.9 J/TH. Specifications are guaranteed for a temperature range from -20°C to 50°C.
Race for efficiency
In November 2025, U.S.-based manufacturer Auradine announced its third-generation Teraflux Bitcoin mining systems with efficiency of up to 9.8 J/TH in liquid and immersion cooling configurations. Sales were planned for Q2 2026. At the time of writing, the press release is not available on the company’s website. Available models offer efficiency levels of 17.5–19 J/TH.
Among currently available devices, energy efficiency at around 9.5 J/TH had only been achieved by flagship miners of the Antminer S23 series by Bitmain, introduced in May 2025.
According to Antpool, these units lead profitability rankings for Bitcoin mining. They are competed with by the most powerful model of the previous SEALMINER A3 lineup.

It is worth recalling that in March, Bitdeer released the SEALMINER DL1 Air unit for mining cryptocurrencies using the Scrypt hashing algorithm, including Litecoin and Dogecoin.
