The Trump family's income from the WLFI token listing has been revealed
The family business World Liberty Financial became a profitable venture for Trump and his sons within a day of the launch of public trading in WLFI tokens, Tyler Warner noted. The Trump family owns approximately a quarter of all WLFI tokens issued. The US president's three sons, Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, and Barron Trump, are co-founders of World Liberty, and their father is named “honorary co-founder.”
With the Trump family owning more than 22.5 billion WLFI, the current value of these assets is about $6 billion, added the Morning Minute host.
At the end of the first day of trading, the fully diluted value (FDV) of WLFI tokens reached $40 billion at one point. The opening price was around $0.35, then fell to $0.21 and recovered to $0.25 by the evening of September 1. In public rounds, the token was sold at between $0.015 and $0.05, raising up to $550 million.
The day before, experts from cybersecurity company SlowMist reported that some WLFI token holders had fallen victim to a phishing attack.
