Michael Saylor: Bitcoin Will Reach $150,000 by Year-End, and $20 Million Within 10 Years

Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, believes that by the end of 2025, Bitcoin is likely to reach $150,000.
In the long term, he predicts that BTC could rise to $20 million.

He also noted that Bitcoin’s volatility is decreasing as the market matures and new derivatives and hedging tools emerge.

“I think Bitcoin will continue to rise,” said Saylor, adding that institutional investors are smoothing out the sharp fluctuations that previously characterized the cryptocurrency.

In an interview with CNBC, he added:

“My long-term forecast — assuming an annual growth rate of about 30% over the next 20 years — is $20 million per Bitcoin,” Saylor continued.

His projection is based on global Bitcoin adoption by retail investors, renewed inflows into exchange-traded funds (ETFs), state-level accumulation, and institutional participation.

“What’s most interesting is that just 12 months ago, you couldn’t get a loan collateralized by Bitcoin — or one tied to ETFs like IBIT,” Saylor reminded.

“No major bank in the country offered such loans. But now, as we see, Bank of America, J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo, and BNY Mellon are beginning to adopt this asset class.”

As Saylor concluded, his optimism and calculations are backed by solid fundamentals.
