Grayscale may soon launch a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the United States linked to the Hyperliquid ($HYPE) token. This possibility emerged after recent updates to the company's registration documents, which caught the attention of Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart.

Bitwise has announced the launch of the new Bitwise Canton ETP on Deutsche Börse Xetra. The product is designed to provide investors with direct exposure to Canton (CC), the blockchain’s native token.

From May 11 to May 15, cryptocurrency investment products recorded $1.07 billion in outflows — the first outflow in seven weeks and the third largest of 2026.

According to Nikkei Asia, the two largest Japanese online brokerage firms are developing their own cryptocurrency-based investment funds and plan to sell them to retail investors. SBI Securities will distribute funds created by its subsidiary SBI Global Asset Management. The fund lineup will include both ETFs and investment trusts linked to liquid assets such as Bitcoin and Ether.

From February 28 to March 6, inflows into cryptocurrency-based exchange-traded products (ETPs) decreased to $619 million, according to data from CoinShares.

The scale of outflows from funds has now decreased compared to peak levels. In early February, a record $1.7 billion was withdrawn in a single week; losses have now fallen to $187 million. Selling pressure has eased but not stopped: the market is undergoing a prolonged correction, analysts at CoinShares explained.

The leader in capital outflows was BlackRock’s IBIT, the largest Bitcoin fund by assets under management. Investors withdrew $317.81 million from it. This exceeds the combined outflows from the next two largest funds — Fidelity’s FBTC ($168.05 million) and Grayscale’s GBTC ($119.44 million).
