The tokenized real-world assets (RWA) sector continues to grow rapidly. According to data from the analytics platform Nexus, the total market size has reached $24.9 billion, increasing almost fourfold over the past year.

Binance exchange is exploring the possibility of relaunching trading in tokenized stocks — for the first time in five years after discontinuing the service in 2021. A platform representative told Cointelegraph that “exploring the potential of offering tokenized equities is a natural next step” in bridging traditional finance and cryptocurrencies.

The New York Stock Exchange and its parent company, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), are creating a platform to support the trading and settlement of tokenized securities on blockchain technology.

According to data from the Tokenomist platform, the cryptocurrency market is set to see an influx of new tokens this week — from August 11 to 18, crypto assets worth nearly $653 million are scheduled to be unlocked.
