The amount of capital withdrawn from crypto funds has become known

James Butterfill, Head of Research at CoinShares, stated that over the past two weeks, the total outflow from cryptocurrency ETFs has reached $3.43 billion. Since October last year, the total assets under management in crypto funds have decreased by $73 billion, down to $165.8 billion.

Ripple received a license to issue tokens in the European Union

Capital outflow from exchange-traded Bitcoin funds reached $817 million

The leader in capital outflows was BlackRock’s IBIT, the largest Bitcoin fund by assets under management. Investors withdrew $317.81 million from it. This exceeds the combined outflows from the next two largest funds — Fidelity’s FBTC ($168.05 million) and Grayscale’s GBTC ($119.44 million).

More than one third of U.S. merchants accept cryptocurrency payments — survey

The survey was conducted among 619 legal entities engaged in offline and e-commerce, the hospitality industry, luxury goods retail, and digital gaming. Nearly nine out of ten respondents (88%) reported customer requests to enable payment for goods and services using digital assets. More than two thirds of those surveyed (69%) said customers make such requests frequently — at least once a month.
