2026 has been a difficult period for the cryptocurrency market: since the start of the year, each of the five largest crypto assets by market capitalisation has posted double-digit losses. Among this group, Solana ($SOL) has suffered the most, losing more than 47% of its value since January 1. To understand where the market may head next, we asked several leading modern artificial intelligence (AI) models to forecast the year-end prices of $BTC, $ETH, $BNB, $XRP and $SOL. Their answers were, to put it mildly, intriguing.

Hut 8 has priced $4.25 billion of senior secured notes to finance a large artificial intelligence (AI) data centre project in Texas. The deal marks another major step in the company’s shift from Bitcoin mining towards power-backed digital infrastructure.

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has laid off approximately 150 employees as artificial intelligence takes on a larger role in the company’s operational processes. The decision may also delay Kraken’s planned public market debut. According to Bloomberg, citing a source familiar with the matter, AI is now being used much more extensively within Kraken than before. However, the company currently does not plan additional rounds of layoffs.

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb has announced the listing of the AI-focused blockchain project Gensyn on the Korean won market. According to the exchange’s statement, the token, previously traded on some platforms under the ticker “AIGENSYN,” will now trade under the symbol “AI” at the request of the project’s foundation.

MARA Holdings announced the sale of a significant amount of Bitcoin to help finance its planned acquisition of Long Ridge Energy & Power. The deal is expected to significantly strengthen MARA’s capabilities in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing (HPC).

NVIDIA and IREN have announced a strategic partnership to scale next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. Under the agreement, the companies plan to deploy up to 5 GW of AI power, and have signed a five-year contract worth $3.4 billion to support NVIDIA’s internal AI workloads.
